Fifth Third brings on treasury management exec

Adam McKone

Fifth Third Bank has recruited a Bank of America vice president to lead its Nashville-area treasury management team.

Adam McKone has joined Fifth Third as a senior vice president and is taking over the treasury management job from Caroline Harris, who is retiring after two and a half years with Fifth Third and more than a dozen years at Regions Bank, among other roles.

McKone has more than 15 years of financial services experience and was most recently a treasury sales officer at BofA, where he spent four years. Before that, he worked at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Northern Trust.

Fifth Third is led locally by Dave Briggs, who took over that position last summer from Mickey McKay when the latter was promoted to a senior role at the bank’s Cincinnati headquarters. Since then, the bank — the region’s sixth-largest by deposits — has announced several senior hires.
