Vanderbilt Health has announced that Dr. David Miller will serve as president and CEO.

Miller, who arrives from the University of Michigan and will assume the role on Jan. 1, 2027, will also serve as dean of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He succeeds Jeff Balser, who announced in March his plans to retire after a 17-year tenure with the medical institution.
