Midtown site eyed for apartment project sells

Nashville-based real estate investors and developers Mark Bloom and Larry Papel have sold a 10-parcel Midtown site eyed for an apartment building for $11.7 million — almost five years to the day after they paid $4.5 million for the property.

The properties span a bit more than two acres and have multiple addresses, with various parcels addressing State Street and Patterson Street within the two streets’ 1600 block. A key address is 1600 State St.
