Airport to provide $6M incentive for road expansion project

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority will provide a multimillion-dollar incentive related to ongoing construction work at the Interstate 40/State Route 255 (Donelson Pike) interchange.    

According to a release, MNAA has agreed to pay up to $6 million in incentives to Superior Construction if the project is completed in 2026, a year ahead of schedule. The authority is working in concert with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, which has hired Superior via a $136.04 million contract, on the effort.
