Attorney Farrah Usmani has joined the Nashville office of national law firm Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the firm’s entertainment, media and sports practice.

Usmani joins the Indinapolis-based firm from Nixon Peabody and also previously worked at Loeb & Loeb. Working in entertainment law, she represents performing artists, songwriters, producers, promoters, venues and festivals. Her practice focuses on recording, publishing, distribution and asset purchase agreements, as well as executive employment and new business formation.
