Jeremiah Oatsvall’s six-yard touchdown run with 25 seconds remaining gave Brentwood Academy consecutive state football championships for the first time in two decades.

The Eagles rallied to defeat Montgomery Bell Academy 42-38 Thursday at Cookeville in a rematch of last year’s title contest. Both teams overcame 10-point deficits in this one, but the Eagles answered MBA’s second-half rally with a five-play, 80-yard drive, capped by Oatsvall’s run, in the closing minutes.
