TSSAA announces finalists for Mr. and Miss Basketball

Six Middle Tennessee student-athletes were announced as finalists on Thursday for the TSSAA Mr. and Miss Basketball awards on Thursday, which are presented annually to the top boys and girls basketball players across five classifications.

The awards will be presented next month before to the championship game awards presentation for each class. Finalists were chosen by a committee of statewide sports writers based on nominations from coaches and media members. The awards recognize the performers during the 2020-21 regular season, with academics and character also considered as well.

The three girls and boys finalists for all classifications are listed below:
