Global law firm K&L Gates has added attorney Matthew Miller as a partner in its new Nashville office.

Miller, a health care attorney, joins K&L Gates from Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis.

K&L Gates launched its Nashville office earlier this year with the addition of attorneys from Waller, Butler Snow, Dickinson Wright, Bradley Arant Boult Cummings and Bass, Berry & Sims.

Miller represents health care providers, investors and other health care entities in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and other corporate matters.

“We could not be more pleased about the continued growth of our Nashville office with exceptional lawyers such as Matt,” Mary Beth Johnston, managing partner of both the firm's Research Triangle and Nashville offices, said in a release. “His experience in health care, and particularly in the life sciences industry and work on international matters, adds to the depth and breadth of services we offer to clients both in Nashville and around the globe.”

Miller previously practiced with both Greenberg Traurig and Morgan Lewis & Bockius. He attended Fordham University School of Law.
