Legislators will vote today on a budget bill that includes blocking school districts from using state money to fund lawsuits against the state. The change comes three weeks after school districts in Hamilton County and six other school districts sued the state over adequate education funding. The details, via Pith.

The Office of Benefits Administration acquiesced to a request from The Tennessean to find out how much taxpayers are spending on health insurance for lawmakers. Records show 116 of 132 state lawmakers are on the state's insurance plan.
