Nashville State Community College will soon go through a $8.5 million round of renovations to its campus. The Clement Building, Weld Building and Kisber Library will all be spruced up. Doster Construction Co. is doing the work.
McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church is putting $4.4 million toward a new 700-seat sanctuary. The church, located near Old Hickory Village, will add 36,315 square feet to its existing structure. Holloway Construction is handling the work.
A $1.1 million, one-story office building will soon go up near the Bellevue Center. The 8,500-square-foot structure is being built by The Hannah Co.
Trucking firm FirstExpress is preparing to add 2,000 square feet to its headquarters at 1135 Freightliner Drive off Lebanon Pike. The project is valued at $238,700 and is being done by J.E. Crain & Sons.
Permits were recently pulled for the renovation of a space on West End Avenue to house a Tasti D-Lite dessert store. The 1,480-square-foot space is located near Centennial Park. DWC Construction is doing the work, which is valued at $200,000.
BBB Auto, located at 4512 Nolensville Pike, has pulled permits for a $150,000 renovation to its existing building. Macs LLC is handling the construction.
A little further down Nolensville, Tandem Construction LLC will renovate the snack bar on the first floor of the Internal Revenue Service’s office building in Southplace Office Park. The project is valued at about $73,000.
