Beck/Arnley hires VP of retail

Beck/Arnley has named Heath Breedlove its new vice president of retail and program group sales. In this position, he calls on and facilitates sales growth with program groups and retailer customers’ businesses.

Prior to joining Beck/Arnley, Breedlove was regional director of store sales for General Parts Inc., where he managed sales activities for more than 20 Carquest Auto Parts Stores. Earlier in his career, Breedlove held various national account executive and sales manager positions with General Parts and served in a sales manager position with the Wix division of Dana Corp.

Skanska promotes Lowery

Skanska USA Building Inc. has promoted Greg Lowery to senior project manager from project manager.

Lowery joined Skanska in 2004. During his eight years in the construction industry, he has worked on health care projects around the Southeast, providing direct management oversight for the construction team. His most recent project was the Tollgate Village Medical Center in Thompson’s Station. Lowery graduated in 2001 with a bachelor of science degree in construction science and management from Kansas State University’s College of Engineering.

McNeely promotes seven

McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations has promoted seven employees — Stacy Alcala, Nicole Floyd, Matt Griffin, Katie Hill, Katherine Liles, Leigh Lindsey and Lauren Northcutt — to assistant account executives from associate account executives.

Alcala graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with an emphasis in public relations and minors in business communication and sociology in 2007. Floyd graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2007 with a dual bachelor’s degree in communication studies and sociology.

Griffin graduated in 2005 from the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with an emphasis in broadcasting and electronic media. Hill graduated in 2005 from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in classics and a minor in art history. Before joining MP&F in 2007, she worked in development and community relations at Hands On Nashville.

Liles joined MP&F in 2007 after interning with the firm. She graduated from Auburn University the same year with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. Lindsey graduated from Lipscomb University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and minors in psychology and communication.

Northcutt graduated from Auburn University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in English. She completed an internship with MP&F before joining the firm full-time.

PureSafety announces personnel changes

PureSafety, a provider of training, safety, occupational health and medical management software solutions, has promoted Marshall Martin and Mike Kroll and hired Allison Pullen.

Kroll has been promoted to executive vice president and general manager of PureSafety’s new Workforce Safety and Training Management Solutions division. Prior to joining PureSafety in January 2003, Kroll was the senior director of sales for eLearning at Ninth House Inc. and as a national sales director for Vcampus Corp.

Martin has been promoted to executive vice president and general manager of PureSafety’s new Workforce and Occupational Health Management Solutions business unit. Prior to joining PureSafety in July 2008, he spent three years as chief operating officer of Juris Inc. and held senior leadership roles at US Xpress Enterprises, Olan Mills Portrait Studios and Harrison Direct.

Pullen has been hired as senior marketing manager of the Workforce and Occupational Health Management Solutions business unit. Most recently, she served as marketing manager of Strategic Communications at design software company Autodesk.

Adams and Reese welcomes new associate

Patrick W. Norton has joined Adams and Reese LLP as an associate in the transactions and corporate advisory services practice group. Norton received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and his bachelor of business administration from Belmont University.

McClellan & Robinson join Pinnacle

Ken McClellan and Eric Robinson have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners.

McClellan, a 31-year veteran in the financial services industry, is a vice president and credit analyst. He previously served as a commercial relationship manager at Regions Bank, a business development representative at Fifth Third Bank, and a senior commercial loan underwriter at Silverton Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and attended the University of Virginia/Colgate Darden in Charlottesville, Va., where he earned a commercial lending certificate.

Robinson brings more than nine years of experience from Regions Bank to his role of loan quality control support associate. While at Regions, he was assistant branch manager at its Hendersonville office, a branch business banker and a senior sales assistant in the business banking area. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Hanover College in Hanover, Ind., and attended graduate courses at Indiana University in Bloomington.

AmMed Direct hires Berry as vice president

AmMed Direct, a marketer of specialty products and services to people with diabetes, has named Dennis Berry vice president of reimbursement operations. Berry will ensure AmMed Direct’s reimbursement policies are implemented for beneficiaries of Medicare and commercial insurance programs.

He joins AmMed Direct after serving as vice president of reimbursement operations for CCS Medical Inc., of Clearwater, Fla. He also has worked as a consultant for Liberty Healthcare Inc. and director of health care reimbursement for Reliant Care, Inc. He is a graduate of Merrimack College in Andover, Mass.

615 Music scores two new hires

615 Music announced that Marcia Kautz and Rusty Reid have joined the company. Kautz has joined the company as accounting manager. Experienced in the music industry and in various areas of accounting and administration, she will oversee all accounting systems and manage the day-to-day accounting of the company.

Reid, an industry veteran with 14 years experience in music and copyright administration, has been appointed publishing director. He will be working with domestic performance rights organizations as well as foreign affiliates to promote the 615 Music Library and Custom divisions. He will oversee the publishing administration of the entire 615 Music catalog.

Local exec named to SPI board

Jay Cude, president and CEO of Coeur Inc. in Lebanon, has been elected vice chairman of the executive board of the Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. SPI is based in Washington and represents more than 1 million plastics workers around the country.
