The former home of Rosario’s Restaurant will get a $279,000 facelift. The interior of the restaurant, at 1200 Villa Place in Edgehill, will be rehabbed and reopened as Taco Mamacita. The Strauss Company is handling the work.

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court will soon have new digs at the Old Customs House on Broadway. Orion Building Corp. is performing $150,000 worth of work on the first floor of the 134-year-old building.

New awnings and a new storefront highlight the upgrades at 318 Broadway, the former home of Gibson Restaurant. After $181,000 of work from Shaub Construction, it will re-open as Diana’s Sweet Shop.

Beazer Homes is embarking on a $829,714 townhome project in its Traemoor Village development on Old Charlotte Pike. Beazer pulled permits to build four new units, ranging in size from 1,956 to 2,334 square feet.

The 6,000-square-foot former home of On The Rocks Bar at 1530 Demonbreun will be refurbished and reopened as the Red Rooster Bar and Music Hall. The $180,000 project is being handled by MC Construction Resource Group. It will be the second Red Rooster location, joining the first location on Memphis' Beale Street.
