The Nashville chapter of the American Red Cross has seen another officer pack up and leave for a post in Washington, D.C.

The nonprofit this week announced that Roger LaGreca, chief advancement officer for the local branch, has been promoted to a position as senior director of leadership gifts at the organization's national headquarters. While with the Nashville branch, LaGreca oversaw the launch of Tiffany Circle , the Join the 10,000 campaign, and the Health & Safety department.

LaGreca follows the trail of the branch's former CEO Colleen Zakrewski, who left for D.C. in August to become vice president of individual giving. LaGreca's last day in the Nashville office is Friday, a day after the arrival of the branch's new CEO, Tim Ryerson.
