Continually acquisitive Ambulatory Services of America has expanded its reach once again, announcing deals in both Alabama and Georgia.
First up, the company has formed Radiation Oncology Services of America of South Alabama LLC. The new entity is a joint venture with Gulf Coast Cancer Center, Monroeville Radiation Oncology and South Alabama Radiation Oncology. The group will own and operate four such centers in South (ahem… Lower) Alabama.
Next, ASA announced that it also has increased its stake in ROSA of Georgia, a previously formed joint venture between the company and American Oncology Associates. ASA now owns a majority interest in the entity.
Nicely positioned before the onset of the current economic turmoil, the company will likely be finding more ways to spend the $75 million it received from New York’s Lindsay Goldberg.
With these deals in place, the rapidly growing company now has 17 radiation oncology centers and 44 dialysis centers around the U.S. and in Guam.
