Dan Hogan, regional president of Fifth Third Bank’s Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Lexington and Louisville markets, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Nashville Branch.

Hogan came to Nashville from National Bank of Commerce in Atlanta four years ago to be area president for Cincinnati-based Fifth Third. He has since taken on additional responsibilities, including oversight of Fifth Third’s newly acquired North Carolina operations.

Separately, the Fed reappointed Rich Ford, president of The Hylant Group insurance brokerage, to its Nashville branch board. Ford was president and CEO of the Sage Group, COO of the National Federation of Independent Business and spent 18 years at Willis before joining Ohio-based Hylant.
