Chandler Real Estate recently purchased 5.5 acres of land for the construction of a new IRS office complex at 100 Great Circle Road.
The firm bought the land for $1.57 million from United Methodist Publishing House, which was represented by Charley Hankla of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker. David Baker of Baker Storey McDonald Properties brokered the deal for Chandler.
Regarding specifics of the IRS' plans, Baker said he could not comment. A call to the IRS – whose current Nashville offices are at Broadway and Eighth Avenue – was not returned. NashvillePost.com will update this story as more information becomes available.
