Branching away from its main business in residential real estate, Village Real Estate has opened a new division to tackle the commercial market.
The new outfit, called Village Commercial, will handle property sales, tenant representation and property management for retail, mixed-use and restaurant locations.
Industry veteran (and former Chicago police officer) Wendy Charles will head the group as the director of sales. Before joining Village about a year ago, she was with ReMax Elite.
According to a press release announcing the new group, Village Commercial will focus on developing and working with properties in the Midtown and downtown Nashville areas. Village Commercial is the company's second new unit in the past few months. Last fall, it launched a property management division.
