Passport Health Communications has named Kerri Kelley Frye chief accounting officer and vice president of finance.

Frye has more than 25 years of banking and health care experience. She comes to Passport from psych hospital operator SeniorHealth, where she was CFO. Her career also includes stops at Iasis Healthcare and Quorum.

"We are delighted to bring in someone with such a unique background blended in health care and finance," said Scotte Hudsmith, executive vice president of finance and business development. "Our five-year growth plan is extremely aggressive, and Kerri has the experience and skill set to make sure our financial operations not only keep pace in the short term, but also are a sound foundation for the long-term sustainability of the company."

The Franklin-based revenue cycle management company, which last summer completed a $232 million recapitalization, said previous CAO Phil Clark has stepped down from the job to focus on charitable activities.
