Brentwood-based diabetic supply company Simplex announced today that it has hired Craig Hartman and George Narr to serve as its new chief financial and chief information officers, respectively.
Narr comes to Simplex after serving as CIO of Florida-based Liberty Medical, which, for those of you who have caught one of their many TV spots, is the mail-order company with Wilford Brimley in its ads.
Hartman has spent his career around the healthcare and finance sectors working with the likes of Eli Lilly & Co., Caremark Rx and Psychiatric Solutions.
Simplex, which was formed in 2007, received a $50 million capital infusion from New Enterprise Associates just under a year ago. The company now works with about 60,000 patients.
