Charlotte, Nashville execs launch new HC development outfit

Former First Colony leaders start a new venture with a familiar name

08-08-2008 2:10 PM — Executives, and, well, pretty much everybody else, from Charlotte/Nashville-based healthcare developer First Colony today announced the launch of Colony Development Partners.

The new venture, which like First Colony will maintain offices both here and in Charlotte, seeks to focus on “development, sales, leasing and management of Class A office and medical properties, as well as in resort development throughout the Southeast.”

Leading the new venture are Cindy McCrory, Allen Brown, John Grab, Bobby Hinson and Dennis Norvet. Joining them “all of the former employees of First Colony.”

First Colony, which developed properties for local companies like HCA, Vanguard and Province Healthcare, came to the Nashville market back in 2006 opening its first office here under the direction of Norvet.
