Civic Bank & Trust announced this afternoon that it has tapped Robert Perry to serve as its new president.
He replaces former president Randall Austin. One of the first duties for Perry, who comes to Civic from private law practice, will be to oversee the moving of the bank’s headquarters to West End Avenue and Murphy Road. It's currently based in the 1700 block of West End.
Three-year-old Civic finished the first half of this year with about $105 million in assets. It lost $49,000 during that period — and essentially broke even in the second quarter — after losing more than $400,000 in the first six months of 2007.
