Following the close of trading today, LifePoint Hospitals announced that executive vice president and chief operating officer Bill Gracey plans to retire after next April.
Stepping into the role following Gracey’s departure will be David Dill. Dill, who currently serves as the company’s CFO, came to LifePoint (Ticker: LPNT) a little over a year ago from Fresenius Medical Care North America.
Gracey, 54, was named COO in February 2004. Before that, he was a division president for almost five years.
According to the announcement, the company has already begun searching for a new CFO.
