Nashville Bank & Trust adds senior VP

Roderick V. Spann

Nashville Bank & Trust announced late yesterday that Roderick V. Spann has joined the bank as senior vice president of private banking.

Spann comes to Nashville Bank & Trust from the local operations of Fifth Third Bank, where he has been a member of the private banking team since 2006. He was a both a commercial lender and private banker at Bank of Nashville from 1998 to 2006. Prior to that, Spann worked in a variety of positions at First American Bank from 1981 till 1998.

He holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Tennessee Graduate School of Banking. In the community, Spann is a member of the Magdalene House Board of Directors and former board member of Mercy Ministries and Edgehill Community Center.
