Bass, Berry & Sims has added three associates at its Nashville office.

Joining the city's second-largest firm are John Kirk, Erin Everitt and John-David Thomas. Kirk will work in the firm’s tax practice. He comes to Bass from Deters, Benzinger & LaVelle in Cincinnati and began his career at the U.S. Department of Labor after earning his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law.

Both Everitt and Thomas have joined the firm’s litigation practice. Previously, Everitt was an associate at White & Case LLP in Washington, D.C. She received her law degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law and a master’s in law from the Georgetown University Law Center in securities and financial regulation.

Thomas comes to Bass from King & Spalding in Washington, D.C. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Bass Managing Partner Keith Simmons in May told NashvillePost.com his firm plans to hire 25 associates this fall to catch up with its growth.
