Tim Webb will be sworn in tomorrow as Tennessee’s new Commissioner of the Department of Education, department officials said this afternoon.
Webb has worked as interim commissioner since Lana Seivers, the department’s previous head, left to work for a private foundation in Mississippi. Prior to the departure of Seivers, Webb was the department’s second in command.
Webb will be sworn in tomorrow at 11 a.m.
