CCA closing Memphis site, a Nissan recall, and more...

Corrections Corp. of America has told state officials it will close a detention center in Memphis and lay off almost 100 people.

Nissan is recalling almost 170,000 Sentra sedans because of potential brake fluid leaks. In not so related news, CEO Carlos Ghosn is in town today to officially open the auto maker's Americas headquarters in Cool Springs.

Second-quarter profits at Caterpillar Financial grew 6 percent from a year ago as new retail financing rose to a record $4.6 billion.

Crye-Leike has closed four local offices as part of broader belt-tightening.
