David Fitzgerald has joined Petra Capital Partners as venture partner.
Fitzgerald comes to Green Hills-based Petra from Richland Ventures, where he was partner. At Petra, he will help invest the new $160 million Petra Growth Fund II. A graduate of Washington & Lee University, he has focused his investments on healthcare, information technology and business services companies.
In addition to its new fund, Petra also manages about $150 million through two other vehicles. Managing Partner Mike Blackburn also worked at Richland before founding the firm almost 10 years ago.
