Ex-Arthur Andersen chief joins healthcare advisory firm

Alvarez & Marsal, a national consulting and M&A advisory firm, has named Bob Hensley senior adviser in its Nashville office.

Hensley is a former managing partner of Arthur Andersen's local office and also spent time at Ernst & Young after it absorbed Andersen's area operations in 2002. He will work in Alvarez's healthcare and transaction advisory groups.

"Bob is a well-known and trusted financial advisor to private equity and corporate investors," said Guy Sansone, a managing director and head of Alvarez's healthcare group. "His credentials enhance A&M’s ability to bring seasoned, practical advice to our clients."

Alvarez is headquartered in New York and runs more than 30 offices around the world. Its healthcare group has 10 U.S. locations, with the local office housed in the Roundabout Plaza.
