Casey Del Casino, a prominent entertainment industry attorney on Music Row, is changing his tune.

On July 1, Del Casino will leave Waller, Lansden, Dortch & Davis – where he was a partner – and join the Music Row office of Adams and Reese as special counsel.

Well known throughout the entertainment industry, Del Casino was formerly a music publisher in New York, where he worked with artists such as ABBA, Quincy Jones and Todd Rundgren. Prior to joining Waller, he was a sole practitioner.

More recently, he has handled sponsorships and endorsements for a sports equipment maker and negotiated film production agreements for a reality television show as well as lease agreements for sound stages and an underwater film tank for the film "Pirates of the Caribbean."

Of his decision to join Adams and Reese, Del Casino says the firm "has a solid reputation for client service, and that is very important to me. They are an established player with a big presence on Music Row. Plus they have a regional footprint, enabling me to expand the services I can provide to clients in more ways and in more places."

Del Casino earned his law degree in 1988 from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was the recipient of the Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition Award. He also received the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Problems in the Music Industry and was the recipient of the Outstanding Legal Research & Writing Project. In 1976, he earned his bachelor's magna cum laude from Ithaca College.
