Dalcon president starts leasing venture

Company will focus on IT equipment and services

Tim Tyler has left his post as president of Dalcon Communication Systems to launch a commercial leasing company with an emphasis on technology equipment and services.

Preserve Financial Services has opened its doors on Third Avenue South downtown. The company is marketing leases for computer equipment, software and other IT services as well as office furniture, vehicles and voice and data-communications systems.

Tyler, who remains on Dalcon's board of directors, has been active in the region's IT sector for the past decade and a half, holding positions at ProSys Information Systems, Sprint Business and Tennecom Network Solutions in addition to Dalcon.
