Nashville-based Internet service provider ISDN-Net today announced its second acquisition in three months, the purchase of local enterprise-technology and information-security consulting firm eNtegrity Solutions,

Frank Pratt, founder of eNtegrity and a veteran of more than two decades in technology leadership roles, joins ISDN-Net as a vice president. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

ISDN-Net President Jerry Dunlap said in a press release that the firm made the move after conducting a strategic assessment that "covers the company's entire portfolio of wholesale and retail Internet services, broadband infrastructure, data-hosting, enterprise consulting and information-security resources."

Before he set up eNtegrity, Pratt held senior positions at Hospital Communications Consultants, Cottonwood and Broadwing IT Consulting.

The deal follows ISDN-Net's purchase in March of Knoxville ISP Net-Express.

Dunlap and ISDN-Net Vice President Ken Russell started the company in 1994, initially working from Dunlap's home. It now serves more than 3,000 businesses with ISP service, Internet security systems, content filtering, wide area networks, web design and e-commerce. Among its clients are Opryland Hotel, Genesco, Bridgestone/Firestone and Education Networks of America.
