Houston-based firm starts small with its 31st outpost

A Texas-based consulting group that specializes in working with insurers, law firms and government agencies has opened a Nashville office.

The Elm Hill Pike location is Rimkus Consulting Group's 31st location and now employs two people with plans to add at least two more in the near future. Over time, the location is expected to grow to between eight and 10 people.

Rimkus, which was founded in 1983 and has a total payroll of more than 380, markets various consulting and investigative services, including property damage evaluations, construction dispute support and resolution and expert witness testimony.

The local office is being run by District Managr Dick Kreimborg, who is based in Rimkus' Tampa regional office and oversees the company's Southeast operations.
