Randall Smith, associate vice chancellor at Vanderbilt University, has been promoted to executive associate vice chancellor for development and alumni relations.
Smith, an alumnus of Vanderbilt, joined the school's staff 12 years ago as alumni relations program coordinator. and has been a major player in the Shape the Future fund-raising campaign.
Smith earned his bachelor's in philosophy and a master's in divinity from Vanderbilt. Before coming back to West End, he worked at Disciples of Christ and as a pastor-developer in Missouri.
