03-11-2008 3:17 PM — After meeting earlier today, the Tennessee Judicial Selection Commission has come back with three finalists for Richard Dinkin’s vacated Chancery slot.
Of the 11 who filed for the position, the commission narrowed the list down to the following three:
Alan D. Johnson Willis & Knight, PLC Nashville, TN
Russell T. Perkins Attorney General's Office Whites Creek, TN
Cristi Eileen Scott Clerk and Master, Davidson County Chancery Court Nashville, TN
Their names will now be submitted to Gov. Bredesen who will either select one from slate or reject the list completely at which point three new names would have to be submitted.
