Larry Ahern, managing partner of the Nashville office of Burr & Forman, has been named chairman of The American Board of Certification, a nonprofit group for the bankruptcy and creditors' right bars.
Ahern had been president of the ABC’s board of directors. The group has certified nearly 1,000 attorneys around the country in consumer and business bankruptcy and creditors' rights law.
At Burr & Forman, Ahern focuses his practice on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, as well as commercial finance and banking in the firm’s business and litigation sections. Burr's local office houses 10 attorneys.
