Vanderbilt University is set to welcome a new vice chancellor for development and alumni relations.
Susie S. Stalcup, who currently serves as the chief fundraising officer for Columbia University Medical Center, will join the Nashville university’s staff effective Jan. 1.
In this role, she will assume responsibility for one of several positions held by chancellor Nick Zeppos before he was named chancellor in March.
According to the announcement, one of Stalcup's central duties upon joining VU will be completing the $1.75 billion Shape the Future Campaign, which is scheduled to conclude in 2010.
