General Motors workers in Spring Hill will soon be working scheduled overtime again as part of the auto maker's latest restructuring initiative.
GM this morning said it will shut down three plants for an extra week in January and idle another factory for a week next month. But Spring Hill – which employs about 3,500 people – and three other plants will have their scheduled overtime reinstated.
