Ellen Hackett has jumped from The Bank of Nashville to oversee lending at Civic Bank & Trust.
Hackett, who has almost two decades of banking experience, will be responsible for Civic's lending staff and risk management. The three-year-old bank grew its loan portfolio 50 percent to about $82 million in the year ended June 30 and came close to making money for the first time.
At The Bank of Nashville, Hackett was a senior vice president and special assets manager. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor's in economics.
