CB Richard Ellis Realty Trust and Duke Realty Corp. have pulled Verizon Wireless' new regional headquarters in Cool Springs into a joint venture as part of a larger $139 million transaction.
Duke built the 180,147-square-foot building for Verizon, which last month moved its employees from a location in Grassmere Business Park. More than 500 people now work at the new site, which can hold 1,300 people.
The Grassmere building is for sale.
Duke and CB Richard Ellis also bought three industrial buildings as part of the transaction that included the Verizon property. Duke built the three, each located in Dallas, Jacksonville and Indianapolis and total 2.2 million square feet.
