
Beth Price has been named CEO of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, a newly created position at the 15-year-old institution.
Price joined Vanderbilt-Ingram in June of last year from the HCA-backed Sarah Cannon Research Institute, where she had been COO. Since then, she has been oncology operations specialist and interim business officer. Price will report to Jennifer Pietenpol, director of Vanderbilt-Ingram and head of the Vanderbilt Clinic.
Price earned her bachelor's in health information management from Ithaca College and her MBA from Suffolk University in Boston. She also has spent time at Accenture and at various Boston-area healthcare providers.
Vanderbilt-Ingram treats about 4,000 new patients each year and receives more than $150 million in annual research funding.
