Payment cycle firm Emdeon announced this morning that Frank Manzella has joined the company as senior vice president of corporate development.
Most recently, Manzella was director of corporate development and finance with pharmaceutical development firm Aptuit. Prior to that, he served as managing director of boutique i-bank Asanté Partners.
At Emdeon, Manzella will lead acquisition and other corporate development initiatives. The company last week said it will buy the patient statement business from GE Healthcare Information Technology.
