Bridgestone Americas will realign many of its business units in a shuffle Chairman, President and CEO Mark Emkes says will standardize the way the tire maker does across its platforms. On a related note, many of those subsidiaries will change their names.

Texas investor Robert Rowling last Friday added further to his stake in Gaylord Entertainment (Ticker: GET), snapping up almost 180,000 shares and lifting his stake to more than 14.8 percent. Gaylord's board in August adopted a poison pill that will be triggered at 15 percent.

Central Parking could face a union lawsuit over its plans to lay off some supervisors at Detroit's airport.
