Inspiris Inc. President Mike Tudeen announced today the promotions of Kirk Stanley to chief financial officer, and Denny Bierl to senior vice president-operations.

Tudeen said the moves resulted from the Brentwood-based company's creation of new lines-of-service and indicated that the company's headquarters complement has also recently grown.

In January, the company announced that Tudeen's promotion to CEO from his previous role as chief operating officer. Tudeen succeeded Gregg Lehman in the top spot. Lehman became president and CEO of Minneapolis-based Health Fitness Corp.

Stanley joined Inspiris five years ago as vice president for financial operations. His previous experience includes roles with Principal Healthcare, American Healthways, Humana and Matria Healthcare. His duties now include information technology, financial operations and other strategic initiatives.

Bierl, who was Inspiris' regional executive for the Phoenix market, recently joined the firm after 18 years with Mercy Care Health Plan in Phoenix and as a principal with Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting. He is now responsible for all Inspiris field operations, including New York, Boston, Phoenix, Tennessee and Daytona Beach.

Inspiris provides care and management services in support of the frail elderly, helps reduce Medicare-Advantage and Medicaid-related costs, and owns and operates hospice companies.

The company says it is currently doing business with 11 health plans; the plans serve a total 300,000 elderly in six metropolitan areas.
