Briefly: LifePoint expands

08-22-2007 2:20 PM — Brentwood-based LifePoint Hospitals has leased the top floor of developer Alex Palmer's new Maryland Farms office building.

The approximately 30,000 square feet in Palmer's Gateway II at Maryland Way and Granny White Pike is an expansion of office space for the fast-growing rural hospital owner. LifePoint currently has about 95,000 square feet in nearby Highwoods Plaza I.

Barry Smith, a broker with Eakin Partners, represented LifePoint in leasing the space.
