07-24-2007 2:52 PM — Big warehouse on the way Conlan Co. is constructing a 288,000-square-foot warehouse for Phase I of ProLogis Park at 1501 Corporate Place in LaVergne. The development is being done by Denver-based industrial real estate developer ProLogis, one of the largest warehouse owners in Nashville. There's enough room on the 40 acres ProLogis bought last year to build more than 700,000 square feet. The permit for Phase I is valued at $17.2 million.
More Bedford office Knestrick Contractor is constructing a new 24,097-square-foot office building in Bedford Commons in Green Hills. The permit is valued at nearly $3.4 million.
Student rehab Solomon Builders is rehabbing the 18,500-square-foot interior of the David Lipscomb University Student Center. The permit is valued at $1.5 million.
New hanger Trinity Builders is constructing a new 22,000-square-foot hangar at John Tune Airport. The cost is estimated to be $1.5 million.
Heavy lifting Baron + Dowdle Construction is constructing a 16,000-square-foot building at 5820 Crossing Blvd. that will be used by Bobcat of Nashville for selling heavy equipment. The permit is valued at $1.3 million.
Keeping it safe Harvest Construction is installing new security entrance areas for HCA at 1 Park Plaza. The permits are valued at nearly $1.2 million.
Church workout The Conseco Group is constructing a 7,000-square-foot addition to the Church of the Holy Spirit at 3901 Granny White Pike. The building will be used as a gym/multipurpose room. The permit is valued at $948,640.
Mall rehab begins Knestrick Contractor is finishing out 14,000 square feet of space at 100 Oaks Mall for Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Clinic. The permit is valued at $840,000.
Rolling Mill demolition R.C. Mathews Contractor is doing interior demolition on Victorian and power house buildings on Rolling Mill Hill. The permits are valued at $450,000.
Germantown’s new restaurant DWC Construction is renovating 1,695 square feet of space at 1222 Fourth Ave. N. in Germantown for a restaurant named City House, a new Italian restaurant scheduled to open this fall with Tandy Wilson III, sous chef at Margot Café in East Nashville and his wife An Kostroski, pastry chef at Margot’s. The permit is valued at $350,000.
Changing bank branch R.C. Mathews Contractor is rehabbing the former AmSouth Bank branch at 2401 Lebanon Pike for Regions Bank. The permit is valued at $438,248.
Keep legislators safe Rock City Construction is rehabbing the exterior of Legislative Plaza for security reasons. The cost is estimated to be $400,000.
Zoe’s on the move Venture Construction is rehabbing space at 4015 Hillsboro Pike for Zoe’s Kitchen, which is now at 4004 Hillsboro Pike. The permit is valued at $350,000.
