The dust has barely begun to settle from last week's surprise departure of WKRN News2 general manager Mike Sechrist and now another siginificant departure from the ABC affiliate.
NashvillePost.com has learned that news director Steve Sabato is parting ways with the station today and a replacement is expected to be named by sometime early next week. Sabato has been with the station since mid-2005 and brought in the Video Journalist concept.
Last week, Young Broadcasting announced that Gwen Kinsey, GM of Young Broadcasting stations in Knoxville and Sioux Falls, South Dakota had taken over WKRN's GM duties.
