05-23-2007 2:00 PM — Intechra, a Mississippi-based computer recycling company, has lined up $30 million in new equity funding from a group of venture firms led by Nashville's Richland Ventures.
According to the company, this round of financing will be used to fund acquisitions and expand its geographic reach. Currently, Intechra boasts six processing centers and two recycling centers nationwide.
Another Nashville outfit taking part in this most recent round of funding was First Avenue Partners, led by David Wilds. Other backers include Louisville's Chrysalis Ventures, along with Sewanee Partners and SJF Ventures.
In the last two years, Intechra has raised approximately $50 million in equity funding. Along with those mentioned above, Nashville's Clayton Associates has also invested in the company.
