Scotte Hudsmith, president for the past three years of LBMC Technologies LLC, is "transitioning" out of the company, which is an affiliate of Brentwood-based Lattimore Black Morgan and Cain PC.

The remaining LBMC technology-unit partners are likely to share control of the business, during an interim period: Nashville-based David Reynolds and Jeff McCorpin, with Knoxville-based Stacy Schuettler.

Reynolds did not return a NashvillePost.com phone call for this story.

During Hudsmith's term, LBMC Technologies expanded its business in Birmingham, Knoxville, Nashville and elsewhere.

Hudsmith told NashvillePost.com late yesterday he intends to remain in the Nashville area, and is exploring a number of opportunities in high-growth businesses. He indicated his departure from LBMC was amicable and a natural result of the company having reached its current stage of development.
