According to a post on Nashville Scene blog 'Pith in the Wind', former staff writer Matt Pulle has been hired as the alt. weekly's new managing editor.
Pulle previously served as a staff writer with the Scene making a name for himself by exposing, among other things, improprieties in the handling of prostitution sting operations. He left in July 2005 to join the Dallas Observer, a fellow Village Voice Media publication.
In addition to his editorial duties, Pulle will write and report as well. He begins his new role on Jan. 2.
