Zycron Inc. named Dennis Waggoner vice president for sales and hired a long-time IT executive as a project manager.
Waggoner was promoted from account manager after five years with the Nashville-based information technology staffing, services and solutions company. Prior to joining Zycron, Waggoner was with Compuware.
In addition, Gary Ellis, formerly an executive vice president of SCB Computer Technology prior to its sale to CIBER Inc., was hired as a Zycron project manager. He has recently managed his own property-management company.
While with SCB, Ellis' responsibilities included supporting IT operations for the State of Tennessee and running a mission-critical data center for Nashville Electric Service. He also worked with Nashville-based Atiba Software and New Horizons Computer Learning Centers.
